1. Do you offer therapy in English in Paris?

Yes! I provide English-speaking therapy in Paris, both in-person (in the 20th arrondissement) and online. I specialise in working with expatriates, individuals, and couples who are looking for counselling in English while living in France.

2. Do you also work with French speakers?

Yes, while the main language of my therapy sessions is generally English, I do speak French fluently. If French is your native language, you may prefer to express yourself at times using French, which will be no problem for me. Being bilingual, I am able to work with mixed-language couples.

3. What types of therapy do you offer?  

I take an integrative approach, drawing on a variety of methods to suit your needs. These include:

  • Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT)

Yes, I offer couples therapy in Paris and online for couples living anywhere in France. Sessions are in English and designed to help couples improve communication, rebuild connection, and navigate challenges together.

5. How much does a therapy session cost?

My therapy sessions, whether online or in person, are €80 for 60 minutes. I also offer a free 20-minute consultation to see if we're a good fit.

You can book a free consultation directly through my online calendar or send me a message to arrange a full online or in-person therapy session at my location in Paris.

8. Is online therapy effective?

Yes! Many clients find online therapy in France just as effective as in-person sessions. It offers flexibility, accessibility, and the comfort of speaking from a familiar environment. Some of my clients begin working with me face-to-face and transition to a hybrid mix of online and in-person sessions as suits their convenience.

9. Do I need to take sessions every week?

No. For pressing issues many clients benefit from weekly sessions, however other clients prefer to take session on a bi-weekly or as needed basis. I strive to be flexible according to the needs of each individual client. 

I do not require that you take sessions on a fixed basis or with a fixed commitment. 

10. Do you offer therapy for teenagers or adolescents? 

Absolutely. I offer English-speaking counselling for adolescents both in Paris and online across France. My background is as a high school teacher and I am well equipped to work with the challenges young people face in each stage of their development. Therapy can support young people navigating school pressures, identity, relationships, and mental health concerns.

11. Is your therapy confidential?

Absolutely. Whether you choose online counselling or in-person sessions in Paris, confidentiality is sacrosanct and privacy is always respected. Sessions are conducted securely, and your information is protected.

12. Can sessions with you be reimbursed?

My services are not reimbursable by the French healthcare system, however certain private insurers may do so upon provision of invoices. Feel free to send my website to your insurer to check.
